The Reason Behind The Name

Often times I get asked if I am Korean … or if I really am Korean. Obviously the answer is yes, or I wouldn’t even use it as part of my online name / alias. For the record, I am half Korean and half Filipina. Except my features as a Pinay isn’t all that noticeable. Yet, I am actually very fluent in speaking the Filipino language called tagalog.

Before we completely get side tracked, let’s get back to the main topic … my online name. Now that we’ve dissected the first part, what about the Minx? Or should I say … being a minx? for those of who still needs a breakdown, and I am not implying you don’t know what the word minx meant … here’s the definition given by google for the said word:

/ miNGks/ an impudent, cunning, or boldly flirtatious girl or young woman.
With that being said … I have always thought of myself to be the flirtatious type. Let’s just put it this way, I am the type of woman who loves to be in control. I love getting things my way. I am spoiled and I will not settle for less. If that means I have to lower down my voice and control my pitch to deliver a husky, alluring voice … and to add a smirk here and there topped with my witty mind … so be it.

What's Up?

First and foremost of all, welcome. Some of you may be familiar of me from modeling, while some through blogging. Others may have simply stumbled across my instagram or other social media presence. Whatever the case may be ... thank you for taking the time to check my little online space.

Before anything else … let’s be practically clear with the main agenda of this blog – this blog is launched with the adults in mind. Yes, you read that right. But I am not here to promote porn nor am I interested to star in one.

I am a grown woman, and by that I mean I can talk about anything that I would want to talk about. Whenever my girlfriends and I hang out often times we end up having “the talk” … which most of us women do. When we do, they end up teasing me to create a blog segment for that. That I should do a podcast for it or even videos talking about such – and that surely it will be a hit as many would want to listen. I have thought about it multiple times but never really put an effort to explore the idea.

What changed? Me. I’m no longer the child or the teenager that I used to be. Plus the fact that I’ve come to realize that there are so many things I wish to talk about but decided not to because it is considered as “too grown” or simply “too much”. The society we live in, the generation we are at, we claim that there are no such restrictions anymore … yet since we are too accustomed to our old ways and so-called tradition that we let all of those chain us down. With this blog I aim to make a difference. Successful or not, at least I’ve tried.
